Driver COD reconciliation

Cash on delivery is still standard when a finished garment changes hands. Tailoroo keeps a per-driver COD ledger, records how each balance was settled, and totals every driver’s cash at shift end — no end-of-month surprises.

Proof of delivery

A hand-delivered bespoke suit is worth hundreds — sometimes thousands — of dirhams. Proof of delivery is captured at the doorstep and filed against the ticket, so disputes end with evidence, not arguments.

Home visits + delivery pairing

The tailor’s measurement visit and the finished garment’s return trip are booked as one service arc. Schedule the home visit, schedule the delivery back — the customer’s timeline shows both, start to finish.

Customer live status

How does the free-delivery minimum work?

Across the UAE the norm sits between AED 30 and AED 100. You set your threshold once; when a tailoring order totals less than the minimum, Tailoroo adds your delivery fee to the ticket automatically, and once it crosses the threshold the fee drops off. A bespoke kandura order will usually qualify on its own — it is the small alteration tickets the rule protects you on.

How is driver COD reconciled?

Cash on delivery is still everyday practice for garment delivery in the Gulf, so Tailoroo keeps a per-driver COD ledger. Every delivered order records how the balance was settled — cash, card or on account — and at the end of the shift the cash-up shows exactly what each driver should be holding. Deposits taken at the counter are already on the ticket, so drivers only ever collect the outstanding balance.

How do home visits and delivery work together?

They are the two halves of a concierge tailoring service. The Home Visits page schedules the tailor’s trip to take measurements at the customer’s majlis or office; the delivery board then schedules the finished garments’ return trip. Both appear in the customer timeline, and both can trigger WhatsApp updates — the customer is never left wondering when anyone is coming.
